5200SC Ink Jet Coder

The 5200SC combines our superior printheads with our unique Touch Dry® ink jet technology to print on almost every substrate in the packaging environment - packaging film, corrugate, shrink wrap, and rigid plastics. The Series' features include the ability to print on conveyors, horizontal form fill, and vertical form fill machines. The 5000 Series can be used in cold or damp wash-down environments.

Clean and solvent-free ink. The Touch Dry inks contain no MEK and are perfect for use in food and pharmaceutical applications. They create a sharp, clean mark that dries instantly and does not smudge.

Easy integration into packaging lines. One controller can support up to four printheads, and up to 62 controllers can be networked using MARKEM Cimcontrol™ software for centralized control and remote operation of your coders.

Flexible. The 5200SC can print on virtually every packaging substrate. This includes flexible films, rigid plastics, glossy surfaces, coated and uncoated corrugated cardboard and shrinkwrap.

Maximize Uptime. Our ink jet coders are designed to maximize your line's uptime. They have fewer moving parts for more reliable operation. Our Touch Dry inks require no complicated viscosity control or special air systems. Ink replenishment is completed on-line without downtime.
